Butaya Izakaya: A Culinary Haven for Weekend Gatherings

background

At Butaya Izakaya, weekends aren’t just about escaping Monday blues, they’re about creating vibrant memories fueled by delicious food and laughter. For those grappling with the eternal weekend question of “What’s for dinner?”, Butaya Izakaya emerges as the answer to your culinary conundrums. Located at Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, this cozy establishment has become my go-to spot for delightful weekend feasts. Let’s delve into the delectable offerings that make Butaya Izakaya a standout choice.

1. Luncheon Egg Pizza

As a pizza enthusiast, I couldn’t resist trying the Luncheon Egg Pizza. The generous portion served was perfect for sharing among friends. The thin, crispy crust combined with the rich flavor of luncheon egg created a mouthwatering fusion. Every bite was a testament to perfection.

2. Shitake Roll Yaki

The Shitake Roll Yaki stood out with its unique blend of fresh shiitake mushrooms and distinctive seasoning. The dish skillfully preserved the natural freshness and texture of the mushrooms while adding a delightful twist. Even if you’re not a mushroom fan, this dish is worth a try.

3. Pork Karaage

A signature dish at Butaya Izakaya, the Pork Karaage, lived up to its reputation. The golden-brown, crispy-fried pork pieces were succulent and bursting with flavor. This rendition of karaage stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had – a delightful combination of juicy meat and crispy perfection.

4. Agemono Platter

The Agemono Platter offered a delightful array of deep-fried treats, including tempura shrimp, vegetable gyoza, and fish fin fritters. Each item on the platter boasted a satisfying crunch, paired with a variety of dipping sauces. Perfect for those who want to explore different flavors of fried delights in one go.
